The Timestamping service package
The Timestamping service is based on a
limited number of functions offered by La Poste’s Digital
Postmark. It allows you to use three types of transactions. Each
transaction consists in the use of a function of the DPM service. The
possible transactions are:
- Timestamping of data (hash), signed by La Poste, with online storage of evidence (3 years).
- Cryptographic verification of Timestamping evidence that has already been delivered by La Poste. This verification is also time stamped and the evidence of this timestamping stored online for 3 years.
- Access to a database to retrieve evidence that has already been archived.
Advanced services
The advanced services use all functions
of the La Poste’s Digital Postmark. They include the following:
- Electronic-signature validation
- Signature services.
- Services connected with the
safekeeping of evidence:
- Data checks, which allow you to compare data in your possession with data that has already gone through La Poste’s Digital Postmark.
- Register evidence for on-line storage by La Poste.
- Retrieve evidence that has already been registered by La Poste.
- Life-cycle management, which permits to link transactions according to a common reference and to define a restrictive list of users allowed to use this reference.
After 3 years, evidence can be kept off-line for up to 10 years.
